Giant "bear paw" shaped sunspt 2209, the big group of sunspots is in the middle of the image, as well as rarely captured (without solar telescope or special filter for photographing the flare) solar flares from sunspot 2208 at the right edge of the sun. This image includes sunspots 2216, 2214, 2209 and 2208, and was captured in Toronto at 3:33 pm on November 21, 2014. Multiple photographs were taken, only this image contains solar flares.
